It detects event patterns and identifies relevant events even in cases where a high amount of events flow into the system, clustering, transforming, windowing, and many more – to guarantee no relevant events go unnoticed. All events streamed into SMS Journal can be processed by a highly robust and visually configurable rule engine. Rules function by taking events as inputs (e.g., "downtime events") and producing new events as outputs (e.g., "relevant downtimes"). The logic for each rule is composed using a variety of available operators.
